Um livro muito bom. N\u00e3o tinha gostado muito do anterior(A Little Hatred).  Do in\u00edcio at\u00e9 a metade o livro &#8220;A little hatred&#8221; \u00e9 muito bom, mas o seu final achei um pouco mon\u00f3tono. Acho que Joe Abercrombie  estava apenas preparando o cen\u00e1rio o futuro dos personagens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quanto aos termos abaixo, sei que no futuro irei achar algumas dessas d\u00favidas uma coisa muito boba. &#8220;Meus Deus! como tive d\u00favida nisso no passado? algo t\u00e3o simples!&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Segue uma lista com termos que me trouxeram d\u00favidas, quanto ao significado, enquanto lia esse livro de Joe Abercrombie:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Termos <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>without mincing words<\/strong>: N\u00e3o tive tanta dificuldade aqui. Deduzi como algo do tipo &#8220;Sem meias palavras&#8221;.<\/li><li><strong>night pot<\/strong>: Pinico de uso noturno? <\/li><li><strong>soiling their drawers<\/strong>: dentro do contexto da frase, soil est\u00e1 no sentido de sujar, mas n\u00e3o \u00e9 sujar com terra, mas sim com fezes. Em portugu\u00eas, em algumas regi\u00f5es do Brasil, se usa o terno &#8220;tirar barro&#8221; significando &#8220;defecar&#8221;. Mas e drawers? &#8220;soiling their drawers&#8221;? drawer(gaveta) fica no sentido bem informal para &#8220;\u00e2nus&#8221;? <\/li><li><strong>Hardly does justice to the troubles we have faced<\/strong>: A frase em si n\u00e3o \u00e9 dif\u00edcil, at\u00e9 bem f\u00e1cil de tradu\u00e7\u00e3o. O que pesa para mim aqui \u00e9 qual o sentido da primeira frase &#8220;To say that it has been a difficult year&#8221; com essa  &#8220;Hardly does justice to the troubles we have faced&#8221;??<\/li><li><strong>taken quite the beating<\/strong>: Aqui \u00e9 uma frase simples de interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o. Quer dizer algo como &#8220;levou aquele surra&#8221;. Apenas coloquei aqui porque n\u00e3o h\u00e1 uma tradu\u00e7\u00e3o exata, ao p\u00e9 da letra quando comparado com o portugu\u00eas. <\/li><li><strong>as shocking as no clothes at all might\u2019ve been on someone else<\/strong>: Aqui tamb\u00e9m n\u00e3o \u00e9 dif\u00edcil de interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o, mas precisa ler a primeira anterior a essa frase. &#8220;Ele ficou t\u00e3o chocada por conta da mancha no tecido da roupa dele de modo que ele n\u00e3o ficaria se aquela mesma mancha estive na roupa de outra pessoa&#8221;<\/li><li><strong>Swords are dear as all hell and they\u2019ve got just the one, and it\u2019s one every man should avoid<\/strong>: De f\u00e1cil interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o. Posto aqui apenas porque sei da dificuldade que diversas pessoas tem com o uso desse &#8220;the one&#8221;. <\/li><li><strong>Orso\u2019s every bit his father\u2019s son<\/strong>:  Bem f\u00e1cil n\u00e9? &#8220;Orso \u00e9 bem parecido com o filho do seu pai&#8221;. S\u00f3 que n\u00e3o kkkk  como assim &#8220;filho do seu pai&#8221;?<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Frases de onde Retirei os Termos Acima<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>And his son is, shall we say, not yet taken seriously on the international stage. <strong>Without mincing words<\/strong>\u2014\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cOur prestige is in the <strong>night pot<\/strong>,\u201d Vick finished for him.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cOh, come, come, the night is young.\u201d Savine fished out her box for another pinch of pearl dust.
